english-australian bacon rashers

the english and the australians may not be known in the wider world for their cuisine, (which i dispute, but in this journal incarnation i am attempting to keep ranting to a minimum), however, there is one item that kicks the world's collective ass... bacon.

many canadians love their bacon. it is part of the stereotype they truly identify with; beer, bacon, tim hortons and the occasional doughnut, eh?

i can't help but wonder what would happen if they started eating meaty, but thin sliced "rasher bacon" more often. productivity would soar! moaning about the weather would fall!

he he.. maybe not, nothing can stop canadians complaining about weather :)

btw. of all the guys i miss right now, i miss the crazy ones the most - see 'close up eye of bela' taken in a wing joint a couple of weeks before i left T.O.
should you ever meet someone who reminds you of that eye - beware!
