i'm tired of trying to generate ssl certs and keystores. i'm tired of trying to make sense of the world around me.
i watched a british movie called 'filthy love' last night - ha, i know what you're thinking - i thought it was going to be smutty too! it was about a guy with OCD, and turrets when he was stressed. there was one scene with boobies, just in case you're very disappointed. this guy was a mess until he found a bunch of others like him :)
my idiosyncracies are nothing near that bad, but it would be nice to find a bunch of others who had similar ones. slight obsessive tendencies, a completely literal mind, no patience for fools and a tendency toward speaking my mind that is very likely going to get me into serious trouble one day.
this country, where everyone is so polite and (without meaning to) they make me feel out of place. constantly wearing me down.. i can't stop thinking how fun it will be to move again. maybe i'll go away for a while and bring my brother back with me.
a society of two. it's a start.

rollback
i can't believe i'm writing c again. i feel like i'm back at university.. not really, i can't mess up anymore. i can't check how jase or matt prepared for their lab, nor can i peek at ms cuvet's senior boyfriend's lab work from the year before.
although i'm looking to implement a happier, mainly java, could-be-mistaken-for-SOA provisioning connector.. in the meantime, dirty little c objects can do the same work much faster and with less people involved.
as with java, i'm trying to write as little as possible, and re-use whatever seems to work. unlike java, i don't know where to look for this or whether it's any good.. the iMatix Standard Function Library is where i'm starting. it's nailed down all those chunks of stuff that you write once and migrate from project to next.
keeping this simple yet extensible and durable is a trick.. i have a feeling this is one of those projects which will see an implementation, followed by 5 years of extension without refactoring or pruning.
