i can't believe i'm writing c again. i feel like i'm back at university.. not really, i can't mess up anymore. i can't check how jase or matt prepared for their lab, nor can i peek at ms cuvet's senior boyfriend's lab work from the year before.
although i'm looking to implement a happier, mainly java, could-be-mistaken-for-SOA provisioning connector.. in the meantime, dirty little c objects can do the same work much faster and with less people involved.
as with java, i'm trying to write as little as possible, and re-use whatever seems to work. unlike java, i don't know where to look for this or whether it's any good.. the iMatix Standard Function Library is where i'm starting. it's nailed down all those chunks of stuff that you write once and migrate from project to next.
keeping this simple yet extensible and durable is a trick.. i have a feeling this is one of those projects which will see an implementation, followed by 5 years of extension without refactoring or pruning.

hey..I stumbled on your webpage while searching for the lyrics of a song by dido called thankyou... I liked it a lot and stored it as favorites.. then when i checked after a few days it was under construction ..now i checked it after about 4 months and lo!!! you have done the most amazing job i have seen with your webpage... and from there I visited ur blog ... kudos for the good work...
By the way I am swapna from India.. and I am doing my engineering third year... Indian names might be unusual to you... I am a girl ia all I can say.. and my name in my language means a dream...
thanks, i love that song too. my personal site has a personal blog too. i deconstructed it and hid it away because was sick of the critical comments from people i knew (or didn't know). blogger is for my publicly acceptable thoughts :)
most of the people i work with are from india - i'm in IT after all :) i'm terrible with names, but i do my best.
